A bike ride in Cotabato City
I was born here and coming back reminisced my early childhood in this place. I will not mention the saddest thoughts about Cotabato City but will promote the culture and tourist destination in this City. I went here and still in effect of martial law, but do not afraid if your not doing anything wrong just bring a valid Identification card where ever you go because checkpoints are everywhere.☺
I've got limited time when I went here and I got the privilege to borrow a bike from my cousin and few bikers accompany me to some of the tourist spot/destination.
Orbea 29er all stock
We rode first going to Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid (The Grand Mosque in Cotabato City). The mosque is located in Barangay Kalanganan in Cotabato City, and was funded by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam at a reported cost of US$48 million. I didn't have the oppurtunity to lurk inside because they have a dress code.
A definitely a must visit to everyone. Great architecture!!!
A few moments later we rode our bike again going to "ilovedos" bikers named it "UPI Lookout" a segment in strava.
Definitely a lookout because you can see the whole city at the top. Before I went here I already researched this and they have this famous bibingka(puto bibingka/puto bungbong) and buko juice.
travellers stops here to try this delicacy
I didnt have the oppurtunity to ride here at Timako Hill (limited time perhaps) encircled in yellow, it was near at the grand mosque, maybe next time when I return
Due to limited time instead of Kusyong beach the guys brought me to Dimapatoy creek, a very clear stream of water flowing. I removed my shirt and started bathing.
